That's right, Herbert seems to be getting downloaded more than ever! I've been told by users that Herbert does in fact work on Windows Vista for the HDD100/120, not sure about other models. I'm not sure that DMM does!
Final Version... Ever!

That's right, the final version of Herbert has been released. You can get it on the downloads page.
I won't be doing any more work on Herbert I'm afraid, sorry for any features I said I'd add and haven't!

Finally an end to the problems of integrity checking (especially if you had no tracks on your MP3 player)!

Hopefully the problems people have been having with integrity checks is now over (if you still get problems
then send the bug report!) Also included is a fix to a problem for HDD100/120 users, which stopped you from
disabling long filenames.
Death of an HDD

My HDD120 has finally passed away... well, it still works, but my computer won't detect it. Luckily all the development of Herbert before the v1 release can be done without directly using any MP3 players.
Goodbye trusty HDD120, you will be missed.
