What is Herbert?
Herbert is a free alternative to Philips' Digital Media Manager (DMM) software which comes with the HDD100 and HDD120 portable audio players. Herbert is now developing into a management tool for a number of different portable audio players.
Herbert has been completely developed from scratch by myself, after I had frustrations with the DMM software provided with my HDD120. Over time Herbert has developed into a relatively comprehensive management tool for the HDD100 and HDD120, as well as now supporting a number of other portable audio players.
Herbert is still under development, and I expect I will continue to add features to it in the future, as well as correct any bugs that are found. If you have any ideas or problems then let me know, and I might encorporate your ideas in the future.
